DAY 160.1 | Chesapeake: The French naval victory that changed the world

The Battle of the Chesapeake was a naval engagement pitting the French naval fleet under Admiral François Joseph Paul de Grasse against a British fleet under Admiral Sir Thomas Graves that took place near the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay on September 5, 1781. The battle resulted in a tactical French victory, effectively blocking the mouth of the Chesapeake and preventing British ships from reinforcing the besieged British Army at Yorktown. Without logistical support and reinforcements from the Chesapeake, the British Army was forced to surrender at Yorktown.   1. À l'époque, la France a soutenu pleinement et stratégiquement l'Amérique dans les moments difficiles. À sa manière, la France a apporté la victoire et la liberté à l'Amérique :)
    Aujourd’hui, l'administration Trump fustige et insulte la France et l'Europe. Trump dénigre et se moque des morts de guerre américains qui nous ont libérés pendant la Première et la Seconde Guerre mondiale, des hommes d'honneur dont le sacrifice est sacré pour la France et l'Europe.
    Comme le roi George lll, Trump échoura et tombera.
