  1. Sounds like the very concept used in the BBC 70's Comedy Show
    The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, where he set up a company
    called 'Grot' selling absolutely useless objects. And he made a fortune,
    selling Long playing silent vinyl records, cruet sets with no holes and
    ash trays with no bottoms...etc.
