Day 251 | Macron, Starmer Reward Terrorists with a State

There can be NO idea of a Palestinian state until all hostages, alive or murdered, are returned, Hamas is factually dismantled, and its leaders are brought to justice or have been eliminated by the IDF.

Countries that have announced plans to recognize or will likely vote for a Palestinian state:

Portugal: Prime Minister Luís Montenegro
France: President Emmanuel Macron
United Kingdom: Prime Minister Keir Starmer
Canada: Prime Minister Mark Carney
Australia: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese
Belgium: Prime Minister Bart De Wever
Luxembourg: Prime Minister Luc Frieden
Andorra: Prime Minister Xavier Espot Zamora
Malta: Prime Minister Robert Abela
Saudi Arabia: Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman

(Some of these countries have added wishful-thinking caveats, such as Hamas being fully disarmed and playing no part in a future Palestinian government.)

Countries that will likely vote against a Palestinian state:

United States: President Donald Trump
Israel: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Hungary: Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

  1. I'd like to suggest that a Palestinian State would not just be Hamas or just Gaza. It would not be ruled by Hamas. It would have the Palestinian Authority as its government and would include all territory under the control of the PA as well as Gaza. In that way, it could sideline Hamas.

    1. Palestian "Authority":

The last presidential election was held in 2005, when Mahmoud Abbas was elected president. The last parliamentary election was in 2006, in which Hamas won a majority of seats. Since then, elections have repeatedly been planned, postponed, or cancelled, but have not actually taken place. So, the PA has gone nearly two decades without a full, new electoral mandate. And you would put these people in charge of the new Palestinian state?
